    Yes, an EBS technician would be happy to assist with training on any EBS equipment. We offer on site, video call or over the phone training sessions.

    The average turnaround time for Large character repairs is 1 to 3 days. The average turnaround time on Small character repairs is 3 to 5 Days.
    First you would need to contact EBS USA at 847-996-0739. An RMA would need to be created. To do this we would need some information. Company info, serial number of the printer, ink type being used, the reason for repair and email address/contact info for the person requesting RMA. You then would need to follow the packaging and shipping procedures supplied with the RMA to send us the equipment.

    EBS will offer a service contract on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire for further information.

    If EBS has a demo printer on the shelf with the ink type being used, we will gladly send it in place of the printer coming for service.
    The EBS office is open Monday thru Friday 8a-5p central time. If it is outside business hours a technician can still be contacted for technical support by cell phone.
    Always log in as an administrator, password = 1.
    The bottom wheel needs to have a silver magnet to make the printer work – check both wheels.

    The EBS S/W runs only on Windows. You can use the Safari browser to connect to a HJ260 when it’s connected to WiFi

    Connect the printer to the EBS Software and click ‘Retrieve’ – check the Info Tab for a detailed description of the error.

    The software was likely installed without Windows Administrative rights – talk to your IT department for help correctly installing the software.
    Check that the cartridge is not expired.

    No, each ink has a unique chemical structure and mixing leads to leaking and poor print quality. EBS USA recommends against swapping different inks in the same printer.
